firstly, i'm really really sorry "if" there's any similar or even same thread that i discusses right now

so... it's kinda ridiculous, but i wonder, is there anyone has trying place one last GDDR5X in their 1080 Ti?

As of now only the Titan gpu's have 12GB of memory.

As Nate said only the Titans and I’m fairly certain there is an agreement that no one else can as only Nvidia makes the Titan X which BTW loses to the 1080 Ti in performance. That one extra memory chip is the only advantage it has.*

Even if it was possible to solder another memory chip on the board the bios wouldn't support it
