G752 series overheating problems ?

just wondering are all the g752 models plagued with overheating problems or is it just mine i have said about this before in the forums before.Without fans on full playing fallout 4 on max the cpu go 95c would self destruct now if i do any gaming i stick fans on full .Its a month old and this is my first gaming laptop asus said all is fine upto 100c didnt know what to expect temps wise but even my 1070 on my desktop never reaches anything like my laptop and thats in a asus tytan case with little airflow lol.

Well my G752VY runs pretty cool since the 303 BIOS upgrade. Idles high 30's low 40's, under full load Burn In CPU Temps get up to mid 70's and 3D mark high performance mode mid 60's FurMark Full Screen burn In setting GPU temps get up to Low 70's I don't game so I can't give you a straight up comparison 90's would scare me on a new notebook.

That is on extreme mind with full fans idles 25c but sounds like a moble hairdyer mine idles at 44-45 but gpu never goes over 65 much better with 303 but the cpu is 7-8c higher in 2 minds to send it back but love the laptop might have to go for repair or is it just the 980 m8gb verson?

Could be mine is only 4 gb, more likely pasting is not hold good.

yeah going to ring asus again in the morning playing sto tonight without fans on full cpu 90c now 56 looks like its going back to be fixed 😕

Good luck on the repair. Definitely sounds like the pasting may be shot. Just for reference, this is my VY with the 4GB Variant and a custom VBIOS. I dont think the 4GB/8GB will be much different temp wise. This is 5mins or so on furmark.
