    Hello there,

I'm having the same issues, I've also the same case.

Noise is related to the mediocre quality of the NZXT FP_AUDIO cable, also it's difficult to isolate from the CPU power.

The most annoying thing it's that front panel audio gets silenced randomly, but must be a software problem, it never happens when i'm using windows legacy drivers and I can get it back when switching from mixed and independent outputs (see screenshot).

I'm using audio driver version for M9H.

I get audio issue's too when I have my headphones plugged into the front of my case. I don't get any crackling or anything, but rather just randomly my mic will start inputting any audio output. Even if I mute my audio, and play a youtube video, lets say, then my mic sends it through.

So during gaming, everything is fine, then randomly my buddies will say "we can hear ourselves all of a sudden" I use headphones that I used on my old build, and never had that issue. And please don't ask me if I have my volume down enough - even when I mute my speakers, and play a youtube video, it sends it through lol.

Tried uninstalling/reinstalling drivers, Windows 10 even. I got the latest drivers from Asus then from the companies themselves whom have even later drivers.

Recently too, when I reinstalled Win10, that on any browser, youtube video/audio desync's randomly. Frustrating lol. I'll probably make a separate thread on this. Just chiming in 'cause I've had some form of audio issues for 2 years on these boards, even after swapping all components multiple times.

^ This is why I prefer manual/physical controls over digital/logical controls. No mic pickup possible when the mic wire is disconnected by a switch.

The microphone issue seems almost definitely software, not hardware.

It's possible that badly insulated wires are inductively crosstalking. Can be confirmed/denied by trying other wires. Again, upgrade/replace/mod them if needed.
