ROG STRIX XG27VQ viable with Nvidia graphic card?

Hi everyone, I know this sound like a stupid question...
Obviously Nvidia GPU should be paired with G-sync monitors and not Freesync..
But I want to know ...

1. If I buy the ROG STRIX XG27VQ (I'm on Nvidia GTX1060)
2. I only have time to play Overwatch and LOL now days
3. I have a very low end 4 years old monitor

How much difference, or how bad would it impact on my gaming experience if I buy the ROG STRIX XG27VQ on Freesync, compare to getting a G-sync monitor?
Or would it still work out to be ok on normal gaming basis?

Thank you in advance.

It really all depends what graphic card you're going to be using , your graphical settings, etc. You don't necessarily need G-SYNC, but it helps a lot with screen tearing. You'll definitely gain benefit from the 144hz regardless if your monitor is G-sync or Freesync.

I'd say it works perfectly fine. I'm getting another one of this model!
