I still encounter this to this day. It's because the application itself is trying to self-elevate when it doesn't need to. The scheduled task is doing the privilege elevation for it and would therefore not prompt for it. This stinks of just poor testing and development.

I have a similar issue today after latest Windows 10 1903 update: I think the problem is that the running task at statup tries to re-set Task Scheduler task every time, and for this reason it requires UAC and highest privileges. It's trying to self-elevate because it tries to update in Task Scheduler the task at launch every time! It was probably the same with Led Service task...
