The ability to give different effect to some components.

I would love to see the ability to give effects to separate components.

Like each RGB header, set the mode to like CPU temp if I have an RGB FAN on my CPU.

the Memory would look so cool, if I can tell it to react to music, they are perfect for audio level.

the ability to save config to file.

I agree with all the others in this and every other Asus Aura thread.
Forget about adding any features until you get it WORKING CORRECTLY!!!

    PLEASE JUST FIX THE BUGS?

I just uninstalled the most recent version last night 1.06.17 cause every time I open the software it fails to open and opens Dr dump in my browser (and says I have x299 motherboard).
Then I noticed Aura was still listed in my list of programs even though I uninstalled it so I used the Aura cleaner tool which did absolutely NOTHING!

So then I downloaded revo uninstaller and it properly uninstalled Aura and get this it found 270 leftover Aura registry keys!!!! and 8 leftover aura folders and files!
THIS IS UNACCEPTABLE, AGAIN FORGET THIS THREAD AND EVERY IDEA IN IT AND PLEASE JUST SIMPLY GET IT WORKING FIRST WITH A CLEAN UNINSTALL,simple request.

To be real here: STABLE VERSION!!!! CLEAN UNINSTALL!!!! These would be the real first prio things to do! Everything else is on the "next pages"!

    - Run each individual component with each of it's own effect (eg in my case: mobo, rgb_header1, rgb_header2, add_rgb_strip_header, 2 dram; it would be cool if the addressable strip around my case would do the "Starry-Night" effect, while the rest of the config would do breathing in sync, because having rainbow on the "out-of-sync" devices is just plain nuts...)

    - Static mode with WS2812B gradient mode

    - "global" saturation and brightness setting for each lightning mode

    - make a mode in the "music" effect, what is similar to the "smart" effect, so the user can pick a color or two for the spectrum visualizer to those addressable strips and drams and whatnots.......

    - SAVE AND EXPORT!!!!! on across all Asus software it would be a great feature, not just in Aura.

    - REAL Philips HUE integration, where you can select rooms, bulbs and whatnot... because having a HUE "infested" flat makes the current implementation looks stupid. My whole flat is lit up when the computer boots up was a horrible experience! Not to mention the only way to get rid of it, is to delete the whitelist entry from the HUE bridge trough the HUE API is again, at the minimum is NOT user friendly!

    - General effect builder, sort of like Razer has it with the synapse 3, but it could be more sophisticated, as that is not so user friendly, BUT!!! only after having a STABLE version finally, because all the crashes are horrible! The worst part of it is that I actually like to stop most of my fans in the case as i prefer a dead_silent PC and when the LightningService jams the FanXpert4 got stuck as well, so heat could build up as the coolers are not reacting the way they are configured. That's why I've made a little powershell script that monitors and force restarts the service if it goes above 20% cpu usage, but come on guys.... the thing puts the cpu in a loop and drives it like crazy, sometimes only the script can save me, as the PC is under heavy load, and the service got stuck in the background is clogging the whole OS to the point of even the mouse lags and i'd be forced to push the reset button.

I don't want this to sound that bad, because i love what the thing is capable of, but the lack of features and stability makes it very frustrating to use, where the HW parts are hands down the best overall! Sooo...... pretty please fix the problems and implement features the right (fully customizable) way!!!

Some kind of synchronization with pre-AURA products, for example, my Z170-Deluxe .

ASUS PLEASE put the ability to fully REMOVE Phillips Hue Hub integration. Ever since I made the mistake of syncing my HUB with Aura my lights change to RED and they all turn on when I boot my PC up. This was the WORST thing I ever did....never should have synced my hub. How the hell could you release software like this and NOT give people the ability to fully remove Hue sync?? Oh, and before some keyboard warrior types "just click the chain button below the hue logo" I have done that, and it does NOTHING. WTF guys....really?

When I use the default gradient mode on my Z370-E,
the right memory stick (A2) gets a colour first, goes through then the left stick (B2) gets the colour.

This makes it so the colours flow in a mish-mash,confused order,

    So the order goes:
    motherboard IO shield
    CPU cooler
    right memory stick (A2)
    left memory stick (B2)

    It should go:
    motherboard IO shield
    CPU Cooler
    left memory stick (B2)
    right memory stick (A2)

I've tried changing the sequence so the ram goes first:

but then the lighting sequence goes like this :/

So 2 solutions, can you change the order so that B2 gets colour first then A2?

    OR

Can you allow the sequence of each ram stick to be configured separately, rather than having 1 catch all called 'DRAM'?

Once the Aura users stop having to worry about all the bugs and compatibility issues, then can start thinking about more features.
