It's possible. I've wondered if they use a CDN with some nodes getting out of sync.

I've learned that if my VPN connection is still active, then I can't get past the OS selection stage to download software. But whether that has to do with blocking known VPN exit point IP addresses, the VPN stripping out data (like REFERRER headers) or blocking things (third-party cookies, for example) or the NSA zapping my bits because they can't read them... I don't know. Once I've disconnected from the VPN, I'm good. (And this is not only here, but also on some other sites, such as Intel's.)

Hmphf at the NSA zapping my Canadian bits. I'm outside of their homeland and their official jurisdiction, lol. Here in Canada we impose our own censors!

Sorry, our NSA is interested in everyone's bits. We've tried to tell him no but he's gotten out of control.

What fixed it for me was turning off the ad blocker.

Cheers for all the replies & apologies for not replying sooner. I tried all the provided links & disabled uBlock origin adblocker in all browers but the page would still show nothing after selecting OS version. The only way I could get the page to show anything was using browsec proxy extension. So for some reason the asus driver page would not show any downloads until I set browsec to use Netherlands as location.

So I've found a way to make it work.

First check that Tracking Protection is disabled on your browser, just this might work for some otherwise copy this script https://www.asus.com/js/Supportpd.js in a text editor and look for this line:
    Code:
    ga('send', 'event', 'pd-support-drivers-download-select-OS', ga_select, selectVal);
it should be at line 801 remove the line and then copy and paste all that in the developer's tools console of your browser (google it if you don't know what it is)

    Now a second dropdown
    Please select OS
will appear and this one will work as expected.

    Why does this works?

It seems that on some servers of Asus their google analytics are badly configured and the line that you have removed which is just a log is erroring because of that, when you remove that line the code can continue as it should normally.

I've sent a DM to Asus on twitter about it, not sure if they are going to do anything about it...

Ah, this thread has been dormant for almost half a year. I've since learned that for me the problem was that Ghostery and ASUS don't get along.

With iexplorer I had the problem of not seeing firmware and software download links on ASUS support website, which I assumed was due to iexplorer not supporting HTML5.
But I can see and download everything now when using either Edge or Chrome with adblocker and "do not track" enabled.
Many users having the same problem but caused by different client configurations, so confusing!
