Hello guys, when the computer is turned on, the BIOS shows the temperature of the processor is always 48-51 with the cooler noctua nh d15, overclock to 4.025 gz, 1.417 voltage. Why do I have such high temperatures when I turn on the computer? Maybe it's the thermal paste?

There is a +20°c offset with any Ryzen X CPU.

My 1700X with almost identical OC (4Ghz, 0.075v offset (1.417v) with Level 4 LLC) sits at 36`C in bios. Its water cooled, and idles in windows at 26`C. I doubt that has a 20`C offset, but idk.

Try HWINFO32/64, it should display the correct temperature without the offset (if there is any).

by always showing 48-51, i assume you meant the temp number when you enter BIOS. It doesn't really get updated till you move to monitor page. Or at least it always shows 60+ for me until I move to monitor page. Go to monitor page and wait a bit, then it will get updated.
