Upgrade options for ROG GL502VT?

PrescottX

Hi All!

I bought myself a Strix GL502VT earlier this year and was wondering what my options are for upgrading and what the limitations are. Ideally, I'd want to upgrade the RAM and existing hard drive to SSD as well as install a M.2 SSD for booting. I've looked around online on options but have come across conflicting answers, so here I am.

My current config is;

RAM 8GB 2133
HDD 1TB 5400RPM
No M.2 drive

Could I please have advice on how I can max out this machine?

Cheers!!

Is there a way to have 1Tb SSD and a smaller 256 M.2 Drive? I'm assuming the limitation would be powering the drives.

if you have the money, do it 🙂

i use sometimes these recommendations, last time for buying another 8gb 2400 for my 553vd.

i already put in link your laptop model, be sure that you click on "view more..." to expand possibilities for a bigger/faster memory/ssd.
