    Asus aura sync ''bug''

hello, for some reason when I select the color cycle or the rainbow effect or any other effect that involves collors changing it stops after like 5 mins.... or to be more specifically, it ''freezes'' , I was on rainbow mode and now the aura software it's not doing anything, the collors are there but they're not changing.... even if im on color cycle it looks like it dosent want to move anymore... and when I enter the software and I select another similar mode and I press apply... the whole application freezes for like 20-30 seconds and nothing happens, if I restart and select the rainbow mode again it works just fine....for about 5 minutes where it starts to freeze again, this happened for quite a while, so I waited for ROG to upload a newer version of the software, but the problem still persists, any ideea why?

I have to say that I reinstalled the newest version of the aura software more than like 20 times.... I don't know if the problem it's from the software or my pc.... but I wouldn't really want to reinstall the windows just because the aura sync ''freezes'', hope that this will be fixed or at least to find why it does this.

    Have a nice day.

So, I had a similar problem which I determined to be an interaction between Corsair Link and Asus Aura. I determined this by disabling the Corsair Link service and the problem went away. Could this potentially be your issue?

it might be, but I use the corsair link to set my fans for the cooler, so I cant just get rid of it, I just hope they will fix this issue
