how cold do you run your threadripper ? i am curious to see best performance

i ma able to run my 1950x to 29 degree celcius, it go to 31 sometime but stay most of the time under 30.

i use a EKWB watercooling loops that goes like this

pump > radiator 1 > gpu > radiator 2 > cpu > radiator 3 > reservoir > back to the pump.

radiator 1 is XE 240 60 mm thick
radiator 2 is CE 420 45 mm thick
radiator 3 is CE 280 45 mm thick

1950x here 128gb ram 3333mhz speed but set at 2133mhz.

Pump CPU Res RAD 360 60mm RES Pump

Pump GPU RES RAD 480 60mm RES Pump

stays at 28 to 29 mostly 30, 31 when oced at 4100mhz

what ram are you using , i cant push mine and i dont know why

I use Enermax TR4 360. My system idles @ 17C @ stock and 22c @ 4Ghz, 1.350/1.375v.

So your room ambient temp is 17c or lower? Sorry but there is no way unless you have your PC in a freezer.

I would suggest in the UEFI to put your overclock enhancement setting to auto, you are not seeing true temps. If I set that to 'enable' mine reads 11c .... lol

With the Enermax 360 I am seeing 30 C idle, 53 C under load (Prime95 run). This is at stock settings

Trident Z RGB 3333mhz CL 16

I use a Bykski block and a OCool 30mm 560 rad. Fans at 30% idle at 3.9 is 24c ambient at 21c.

OC 3.9 full out for an hour or so goes to about 45c with fans at 60%, 40c with fans at 85%.

Temps make no sense unless you include ambient.

20 ambient here idles 23 degrees

I use my ex girlfriend's heart as my cpu cooler, below freezing temps. Overclock done right.
