I would be very cautious about installing 2004 lots of people are still having issue with it. if your going for the upgrade be sure to create a disk/SSD full image before installing it. that way if you have issue you can just restore that imaging and be right back where you were. My 2 cents regarding Windows 10 2004 version...
Maybe ASUS should finally update ROG G751JY Realtek audio driver to make MaxxAudio working again with Win10 ver 2004? Do you realize that at W10 2004 the MaxxAudio module for the most of versions of Realtek drivers is NOT installed due to the error of unsupported OS version? And if it is somehow installed that it is not working and the only solution is to manually copy files and restore MaxxAudio registry entries from the older W10 versions or even from W8.1?

Do you realize that G715Jy Realtek driver including MaxxAudio at your support page for W10 is version V6.0.1.7576 from 2015 and is NOT working correctly with MaxxAudio at W10 ver. 2004? https://www.asus.com/pl/Laptops/ROG-...Desk_Download/

So please ASUS validate and prepare the new fully functional audio driver with working MaxxAudio for G751jy and other laptops at Win10 ver 2004 since without it users CAN'T tailor bass, treble sound at all - so it is the lack of basic audio functionalities.

here it is, update at your own risk, https://www.microsoft.com/en-us/soft...load/windows10 many issues with this upgrade to 2004 for notebooks. Be sure to create a full OS Drive image before attempting. Once you start the upgrade select upgrade and keep my files and apps. Have your Asus hardware drivers handy and ready to install.
