ROG HB SLI bridge RGB header
I have 2 x 1080 strix cards and the rog hb bridge. My motherboard does not support sura sync. can the rog be connected to the rgb header on the graphics card to set the lighting colour? I'm finding it hard to get the right colour using the touch method.
Thanks.

If I’m not mistaken the GPU RGB header is different. I’ll have a look at the heatsink and back plate I pulled from mine and update.*

Just had a look at my cards and the rgb header i saw in the pics isn't there, turns out i was looking at a pic of the 1080ti.
My cards are watercooled so the header the powers the leds in the cooler is empty but it is physically different to the cable for the bridge. My backplates are still intact but I think they used the small header, like the one on the actual bridge itself, not the larger mobo type one.
It would be good if there was some sort of workaround to set the colour with software somehow.

Yes, I just verified it. connectors on the card are much smaller and latch. Thing is Im not certain what the voltage is for the RGB lights on the card either. The SLI bridge is 12V and the card is most likely 5V as it can be set to stay on when the PC is shut down using 5V standby. So even going bonkers and reworking the connector isn't going to work.
