MAXIMUS VIII HERO - Drivers On CD Or Website?

I've always been one to grab the latest drivers online, but today I'm rethinking this.

I installed the latest Chipset drivers, and the Device Manager showed missing support from the Chipset Drivers, but what happened was, the devices cleared and went away after I had installed the Chipset drivers ten minutes later. I have never seen anything like this before, usually, you install, reboot and device manager is clear, not this time... Hmm

Next, I have an Event ID in the System Logs over the latest Realtek driver...

Now two flaky acting drivers, I'm starting to think, I'll just try what's on the cd and see how it works...

THANKS GOODNESS For Clonezilla Backups, I made one of just the Win10 install, no drivers...

Get the most recent one's from the website. Never use any drivers on the cd, aas they're always old drivers.

Well the latest sometimes isn't always better...

I see this "SupremeFXHiFi" driver which is not shown/mentioned on the website... Not sure if this is rolled into one now?

Also trying to figure out if the Realtek driver if it's just a plain stock vanilla driver, and if so I might grab the latest from their site to try.

I grabbed the previous version to the latest Realtek driver and I'm not seeing an error I was seeing before with the latest version.

Is the SupremeFXHiFi Control Panel still being used in the latest driver release(s)? Not sure I'm seeing much of a point to this, hmm
