GL502VS Wakes up from Sleep Inside Backpack

I have a GL502VS Nvidia 1070 i7 6700HQ that I keep finding burning inside my backpack. It has happened over 10 times now and Im afraid it will ruin my laptop. I put my laptop to sleep since I want to pick up where I left off in terms of what I have running, so shutting down each time is not a solution.

What I think happens is that because the lid is malleable, it compresses inside the bag (picture attached) and hits a random keyboard key. This then turns on the laptop.

Is there any way I can disable the keyboard keys while the laptop is asleep? Thanks!

If you replace the larger bag to use, is it still happening again?

The bag is already quite big to start with. The issue happens whenever the laptop is pressed and any button clicks itself on the keyboard. That is certainly a design flaw. Is there a way I can turn this off in the BIOS?
