    Version -
    2017/11/093.27 MBytes
    ME Update tool
Intel has identified security issue that could potentially place impacted platform at risk. Use ME Update tool to update your ME.
*We suggest you update ME Driver to the latest Version 11.7.0.1040 simultaneously.

Any idea if this is safe? Seems pretty serious

Wait... where did you find it? I think I am blind LOL. And half the time when I run the summary it freezes my entire computer...... and if I run the sensors only, it freezes my entire computer while loading. Always some issue with this mobo and drivers..

So we are supposed to run this in conjunction with the Intel ME drivers that went up a couple of days ago?

M8H BIOS 3504 and Intel ME Update Tool 11.7.0.1040 can be downloaded from the ASUS site here.
Alternately, Intel ME Verification (and Update) Utility can be downloaded from the Intel site here. It currently happens to install exactly the same IME version on Z170.

HWiNFO is not required, it is only a reporting tool.
