I'm not at home, so I can't see if my system is still vulnerable or not.

Kudos i will ready and is serious. but why until now?

Thanks so much for these i will pass these to my latinoamerica community and check with them

But, if you update to Intel's last FW:
    Attachment 69153

It's version is 11.8.50.3425, which is free of this problem.
3399 shows up not vulnerable when I run the test. Others with 3399 are posting the same results.

Not sure why your test failed with 3399.

Mine shows 3399 as well, but says it's vulnerable. I see my SVN is 0, while Itzycharles's is 3?

    No problem, best of luck!

My system is still vulnerable, when I run the ME update tool I still get the "Warning Check ME file is correct!!!" error, even when running from a USB.

Some proper clarification from ASUS is still needed along with a proper install tool.

    I have BIOS 1009.

I tried using the METool first, but says check version of ME file. So installed the drivers which installled alright. Then tried again to use the METool using the flashdrive, close apps, and admin method, and it worked. But still 'vulnerable'.

For those of you still getting "can't open asio.sys (2) error. I finally got the FW to update, here's what I did:

1.) Unpack the MEUpdateTool .rar file to a formatted USB flash drive.
    2.) Temporarily disable your AV.
3.) Once unpacked to flash drive, right click on the MEUpdateTool.exe file and run as an Admin.

    Hope this helps...
Thanks for that, that worked for me. I shut down all programs running in the task bar, logitech, corsair, steam etc and then ran MEUpdateTool as administrator.
This went through and rebooted, but straight after the reboot the intel tool said my system was still vulnerable.

I rebooted a couple of times and ran the MEUpdateTool tool again and now the intel tool says that my system is safe and has been patched!

Not a simple process, but it is now completed, for better or worse!

    Solutio if meupdate error

    Open device manager
    Navigate to systemdevices
    Manually deinstall Intel Management engine
    Reboot
Download latest asus chipset driver for your mainboard and install it, directly after installation finished use the meupdate tool should work then.

    BUT
You still will be vulnerable because version 11.8.50.3399 is still not safe.

    ------
Have no idea how to get to a safe version of this.

Where did you get version 11.8.50.3425?

Also, on Intel's advisory page it says 11.8.50.3399 should be fine:

Since it seems creating a new thread about the issue ends with that thread being locked, gotta ask here:
Where is the update for ROG laptop G752VY?
