    I have never used this drive but I would say yes you made a good choice, OS on nvme and the 2TB now for storage

    As an MP500 480GB owner, I can say that it's a very hot (~60c idle temp) drive.
    And the second downside is that corsair don't want to release a dedicated driver unlike samsung.
    In my case this causes "Stornvme, event 11" error message each time my PC starts up.

    If I had a chance to get rid of this toaster, I would buy samsung 960Pro or even Evo....

    (actually it's not that bad...everything works pretty much fine. There is allways a better choice)
