HDR SUPPORT AT 4K / 60FPS WITH GTX 1080 ? (HDMI 2.0b)

illustrated

Can someone confirm that the Strix 8GB Gaming version of gtx1080 supports HDMI 2.0b, in order to output HDR at 4k/60Hz screen?

The information on the box and the site just states HDMI 2.0. Several reviewers online state the card does support 2.0b cables.

As far as i know, HDMI 2.0b is required for HDR at 4k/60Hz, correct me if i'm wrong.

If you want G-Sync, it is necessary to use DisplayPort instead.

Is there a reason why you prefer HDMI over DP? I'd use DP if you could, since it'll allow you to use GSYNC
