Hey, I have an ASUS ROG G20CB computer with the GTX1080, 6700 in it.

I can't find anywhere if my HDMI is 2.0, 1.4, or 2.0a. I also can't find if it's HDCP 1,2 or 2,2 compliant.

I just bought a new Sony 4k UHD tv that is HDCP 2.2 compliant.

Right now my tv is saying that the hdmi coming from my PC is 4k 30fps but it doesn't look any different than a 1080p tv even up close.

I ran a torrented 4k stranger things episode (15gb for a 1 hour episode) and it looks no different (grainy) but I also have no idea if the signal is getting downgraded to 1080p because of the hdcp 2.2 digital handshake or not.

I tried 2 4k players (5kplayer and VLC) then put it in windows media player/movies&tv win10 app which isn't a 4k player and there was no difference either.

EDIT: playing 4k YouTube on the tv itself looks noticably different.
