I have a few follow up questions:

The new BIOS 3801 loaded correctly and is working with the 5930?

How long was the 6950X in there before the BIOS update?

Was the 5930 ever installed before?

Are you going to warranty RMA the 6950X with Intel?

    Hello Red454,
The Bios was just uploaded and the computer does a shut down, never able to power on again.
The 6950X has been working on this Motherboard for 1 week.
When I bought the 6950X, it was sealed.
And Yes I will take the Cpu to the seller to send to Intel.
But tomorrow I'm going to test it on an X99 Deluxe .. to check if it's not a problem with the Rampage V.

So I have a i7-5930k that was on BIOS 3701 working perfectly fine, switched to second bios to flash to 3801, and now system will not boot, it will power up with post code 95, also I have the OC panel which is showing that the system is not clocking, so it looks like the BIOS update fried my CPU, or the motherboard is bricked from the BIOS update, I did the bios update using bios flashback...

Samukas I think your CPU died from the update...not sure if the CPU still under warranty, will have to check, if not will ASUS replace it?!? Not very happy about this...please advise...

    Thanks!*

Just upgraded from 3701 to 3801 on my RVE (non 10) with my 5930k processor. Went fine. Haven't tried to overclock, I'm going with mostly defaults aside from setting to Adaptive mode with XMP settings and enabling all C-States these days as I haven't run into any software yet on my rig that default XMP settings doesn't seem to handle just fine... I'll go back to overclocking when I need to.

I am actually curious to try overclocking again with this new BIOS, though, since whatever instability I got whenever OC'ing core, cache and video cards seemed to manifest/present as DRAM instability. Not anytime soon though.

Oh, boot speed seems as good as it was in 3701.

(BTW - anyone upgrade from 5930k to 6850k? Was it worth it - or rather, would it be worth it for about $340 now? 6850k prices dropped like a stone lately for some reason, pretty much same price as a 6800k now. Who knows if that'll last?)

So I tried to BIOS Flashback to 3504 and no go, same exact issue, tried 3701 also, nothing...I think the CPU is dead, no issues at other than some Logitech keyboard detection problems here and there, hence when I wanted to update...this isn't good...
