What we need some sort of client with UBI to play their games?

I haven't played UBI games in ages, and I clicked the first link and it says;

The game has been added to your library!
You can find your new game in your Uplay PC Games library!

Launch the Uplay PC Client
or
Download Uplay PC


Hmm also added to my library, seems like this is someone's link to their gaming library...

I think the first url with "claimed" at the end is just a boilerplate page you receive after you claim it. It's not linking to any specific library. I'll update the link so that people can get to the proper page.

But yes, in order to play ubisoft games you must install their uplay client. It's a digital store/DRM like Steam or Origin. Unfortunately it's one of the reasons I no longer buy EA or Ubisoft games. I don't want or need yet another piece of software on my PC just because publishers can't play nicely together. *shrug*

Nearly everything requires a log in to play these days.
Just another level of protection from piracy. Even GTA requires log in to the social club.
