RGB strips
Motherboard: ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F Gaming
BIOS version: 3401 X64
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 1600
OS: Windows 10 Pro
Memory kit: G.Skill 16 GB DDR4-2666
Graphics card: ASUS ROG STRIX Geforce GTX 1080 Advanced 8GB
Cooling solution: Stock
Aura version: 10.05.28
RGB lighting strip: Phanteks PH-LEDKT_COMBO RGB LED Strip Combo Set
RGB Fans: Phanteks PH-FF140RGBA Halos Lux RGB Fan Frame
Just built this computer and am having some issues with the lighting. When I start Aura, I get two warnings "install driver failed" and "start driver failed". After that, Aura starts in what I think is normal. The main issue that I'm seeing is that I can only adjust the motherboard and VGA lighting. Some of the modes allow me to change the RGB strips on their own, but the RGB fans change at the same time, even thought hey are plugged into two different RGB headers.

I have problems with ASUS's software in general with the GUI. First started noticing it in GPU tweak. The GUI is transparent and then dissapears when i mouse over it. Making this version completely unusable. Anyone else have this issue?

Here are the list of my Aura Sync devices:
Asus Maximus IX Apex
Corsair Vengeance RGB 16 GB kit
Cooler Master Masterfan PRO RGB
2 x Deepcool RGB Strip
during music mode, there is a consistent intermittent freeze. I tried putting the lightning service to High Priority but it doesn't fix it. I assume the data packet sent to the RGB was lost along the way. Here is a video for you to see https://youtu.be/b5GrNuu-e2Q. It happened twice in that video, while the NZXT Kraken is syncing properly, the aura freeze a for second.
As for the 1.05.25 BETA version that I wanted, it is not uploaded on the Support Site you linked. That is the original 1.05.25 which still have Corsair Vengeance 16GB kit not syncing properly issue. You've previously uploaded a 1.05.25 BETA on this thread https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...in-this-thread but you've deleted it.
None of these issues happened on that 1.05.25 BETA version. I deleted the installer and you've deleted the download link. As much as I want to troubleshoot this, please get my rig working together again by re-uploading that version. Lastly, please don't ask me to uninstall CAM. It was working well with that version and I see no reason to make my NZXT kraken stop working just to fix the AURA sync.
I hope this helps. Looking forward to the download Link.

As I am collecting more cases with the NZXT Kraken 62, could you tell me which version of CAM are you using?
Can you tell me which version of CAM are you using?
We are trying our best to solve this issue. The problem we have is that, each case is different for the CPU usage. If we look back, it seems that having other lighting software / device create some kind of conflict and can increase the CPU usage. The only way we can try to find some fix, is gathering your devices information and software information. This way we can try to reproduce here, and see how it can be optimized.
To complete your case could you provide:
-> Razer synapse software version
-> Your Keyboard and Mouse exact model name
Have you installed the latest drivers of your graphics card?
Also can you confirm you only have the 1.05.28 version of AURA installed - please take a screenshot to show.
Can you take a screenshot of your AURA? If I understand correctly the RGB Strip do not show off on the AURA.
Have you try to shut down completely your computer and turn it on again - to make sure it does the connection?
Do you mean the motherboard doesn't show up in AURA? Please take a screenshot of AURA to see what pop up there. You should be able to see your motherboard, VGA, and Corsair memory kit.
Do you have the Z170-Pro Gaming AURA Motherboard?
Can you tell me:
-> Razer synapse version
-> NZXT version
Also does AURA was working at some point in time? If Yes what did change?And don't forget, Keep pushing it !

When fans or ROG strips are connected to the RGB connector, it's normal they do not appear as AURA device. You can see them once you select an effect, and click on By Areas. Then you should see RGB Strip 1 and RGB Strip 2.
For your specific issue, does Phantek mention about installing something to make the fan or strip works?
You can always try to uninstall and reinstall AURA and see if you still have those two warnings message.
You can also try to go to Settings -> RGB Header Settings -> Calibration
When you do this steps, does the Strip / fan react to the Red / Blue / Green?And don't forget, Keep pushing it !
