i have the same mobo and gpu and have the same problem, any other version now just endlessly crashes

on reddit this person had the same motherboard with same issue tried it out

Unblocking the Zip and starting AsusSetup as admin worked, didn't think about that since the Setup.exe itself askes to be opened as admin. It even works with the Corsair RAM, didn't know that.

i format my pc today and i put version 1.05.28
first in setup it says can open asl0.sys !! (2)
and then i cant find my ram my motherboard just graphics card
problem fixed..next problem...i cant even open the aura now...every time dump

I have done it once again with this procedure, also cleaned registry with Wise Registry Cleaner, unlocked the file, installed with admin rights, launched with admin rights... still nothing, motherboard not detected !

Apologies, I omitted that you need to reboot your system between step 1 and 2.

1. Shut down your computer completely (from the PSU / power plug).
REBOOT YOUR SYSTEM
2. Download the latest version of AURA available.
3. Unzip the zip file. Then right click on the “Setup” and under Properties\Compatibility, select “Run as administrator”. Apply and close Properties window.
4. Run "Setup" and reboot your system.

Yes, indeed, my strips are 12v BRG. How come the calibration does not solve this issue, isn't it the whole point of calibration to tell Aura how to map outputs to RGB header? It seems like a Aura software bug to me then. In the end, its simple swap of variables, user inputs 255 in "Green" and then Aura should do a simple translation before sending that data to RGB controller.
Also, i would like to emphasize this again that in every other light mode my 12V BRG strip syncs with rest of motherboard correctly. The issue described above appears only with color mode. The exact bug would be then
Asus Aura Color cycle mode ignores calibration settings of RGB1/2 strip header while every other mode displays colours correctly.

I was able to reproduce that same pattern. I will feedback to software team and see if it can be fixed or if it's a limitation.

Can you provide your full system spec including mouse, keyboard, monitor, headset in the case they are AURA sync.

I installed Aura 1.05.28 again on new system and new SSD.
The program works correctly. Unfortunately, after installing LiveDash 1.00.04 there are again problems.
I described them earlier in this thread.
Aura also not work after installing AI Suite 3 version 2.00.09.
So this Aura version not work properly with this version of LiveDash and AI Suite.*

The EC that control the AURA sync might be defective. Please contact the customer service of you country.

AURA is different from laptops and components. What do you mean by compatible? What will be your usage scenario?

Thank you! I'm practically having an identical issue after spending a considerable amount on 5 Phanteks Halos frames and a 2m Phanteks LED strip. Calibration clearly does not work, because after doing it red still lights up green and green still lights up red. The blue pin on Phanteks products seems to be the only one that corresponds to the same pin on a Crosshair VI motherboard.

Is this an issue that can be resolved in a future software update or should I return these products before I unpack and install the rest of them?

Please give us the option to change brightness in effects ..currently its only available in static mode
