uninstalled .28
Worked acceptably for awhile then recently lost its mind. Nothing worked as it should. Going default left weired color cycle with RGB headers 1 and 2 spazing out as in flashing random colors then off for a few cycles. Back to Unicorn Vomit.

"Lighting Service' Process using high system resources
Once Aura is launched, the process called 'Lighting Service' uses 25-30% of my CPU resources, and causes higher than normal temps.
I also have Asus GPU Tweak II - both latest versions.
If I force quit the process, CPU usage returns to normal.
System Spec:
Win 10 1709
Asus Prime Z370-A
i7 8700k
16g gSkill Trident Z DDR 3200
Asus GTX1080ti
Corsair H100i
Corsair TX750

Only ASUS software (GPU does thistweak too). Across multiple instances of windows installations. Firmware and drivers are and have always been up to date. It appears to be something ASUS implements in the UI. Cant I get just a plain version
? I don't need it to look fancy as much as i need it to function.

Aura Sync cannot find motherboard.
Basically the program cannot find the motherboard or any other devices in the computer.
Using AURA xx32 and tried with xx28 before that.
Setup:
Win10 Home x64
MB: STRIX 370-E with newest driver (606)
I5-8600K
16GB Corsair Dominator DDR4 ROG
STRIX 980TI 5GD6
NZXT 450 ROG-edition cabinet (Sync enabled) w. 2 SYNC LED strips added extra.
I have tried ALL the steps. Re-install. Using older version. Aura cleaner. Had everything taken apart and put back together. Uninstalled all other ASUS software.
It's a new install of Windows, so I can't see that being a problem.
BRG setup.
All the LED on the computer are running 'rainbow' and continue to do so out of the two different outputs from the motherboard, and the LED on the MB is also running smoothly. AURA SYNC just can't see any of it.
Hoped to get this working, since the setup was.. not cheap.Last edited by Terril; 01-12-2018 at 10:55 PM.

When using the Gradient option under the Rainbow RGB scheme, it seems like if your start hue is a higher number than your end hue, the system will default to the full colour spectrum.
For instance, I'd like a gradient starting at 325 (pink) and ending at 25 (orange) but when I enter those numbers, the lights in my case default to the full spectrum.
Motherboard: Z270-E
BIOS version: 1203
Processor: Core i7 7700K
OS: Windows 10 Pro
Memory kit: G-Skill Trident Z RGB-3200 2x8
Graphics card: EVGA GTX
Mouse: Logitech G600
Keyboard: Logitech MX5500
Cooling solution: Corsair H115i
Aura version: 1.05.28

I dont think the software code goes that deep. It starts low and goes high from what Ive seen. Ive uninstalled it AGAIN. Very buggy, always has been. The more you add to it the worse it gets. Leave it at only the MOBO and it generally works so so. For each component added the change of failure increases proportionately.

LigkhtingServise loads the CPU at ~ 20% or higher after the start of the PC or after a while. When I run the application, it crashes with an error. aura v1.05.28. Motherboard asus z370-F Gaming. https://drdump.com/UploadedReport.as...&SecondVisit=1
