That is the good stuff and is what I use.

I see you're from Georgia so you'll have to search around for the cheapest price.

Me again. Got a question. I just installed the latest BIOS on my Z370F and then redid the steps you showed me to OC the 8600K to 5000.

However, the frequency fluctuates between 4889.0 and 5000.1 It is not stable like it was before the BIOS update.
Also, using Prime95 all the cores drop to a stable 4800.0.

    Here's the latest RealBench scores.

    Is this normal?

    Have I done something wrong?

Thanks againClick image for larger version.

Dear IainM, the realbench is using the avx instructions, its possible that the avx setting in your bios it set to 2 - this means under avx loads it will drop by 200mhz.

Sorry for the late reply. Just read about AVX. I think I get it. Still, I always have RealTempGT running in the background and the frequency it displays at the top of its box is never constant now. It fluctuates between 4990.02 and 5000.02. The core ratio fluctuates too between 49.1 and 50.0

    Is this supposed to happen?

I followed all your instructions for overclocking that you gave me before. It was stable then. But became unstable after I updated the BIOS.

    Thanks again

    Hi there,

kindly google "spread spectrum" My guess: it will explain it.
It is a function helping with interference
    Controlled via Bios.
There are Yay and Nay sayers. So you should do your own research.
