CPU VCCSA -> "CPU System Agent Voltage"

    Is it correct?

I used your values, but it did not help, with 1801 it still hangs with bF code. Moreover, it seems that it is not related to "In sleep, hibernate and soft off states" like I told before. After I install 1801 I see bF, then I do BIOS hard reset to make it start and after default BIOS settings is set I see bF again.

    Thank you.
    VCCIO is CPU VCCIO.

I updated to 1801 precisely for the LED switching off on soft power off. All is working as it should here...

    Hello,

I have managed to make another try with this BIOS.

I am sorry, I do not completely understand what does it mean. I suppose you recommend to set DRAM voltage to 1.25v-1.3v, isn't it? But the rest is unclear to me what parameters I should change.

According to recommendations I had so far I tried the following values (screenshot in attachment):
CPU System Agent voltage = 1.2v
    DRAM Voltage (CHA, CHB) = 1.25 - 1.3v
    DRAM Voltage (CHC, CHD) = 1.25 - 1.3v
    VCCIO CPU 1.05v Voltage = 1.1v

Result is the same - bF. I have also tried auto-chosen voltage values from 1701, tried with/without XMP profile - nothing changed.

Something strange with this 1801 BIOS.

I was referencing CL, tRCD and tRP. You can perhaps try up to 1.4v on DRAM voltage, but this much should not be needed for these frequencies (2666) and is considered terrible tuning.

In order to get these DIMMs to work together, you may need to relax sub timings, too. You may find it a lot easier at this point to return them and purchase a sigular memory kit qualified for this platform.

Ok, thank you, I will try to find it when I have a chance to spend time on it next time.

I definitely cannot return them and it is quite difficult to find appropriate kits of 8 or 4 sticks in my country. What is a lot easier for me is to continue using 1701. It is curious for me why it is working fine with this version and system not even start properly with 1801. It just should not be like that.

Huge memory bandwidth decreased after bios 1801 x99 strix

    Hello everyone*
ME, i have a very big issue after updating bios from 1701 to 1801, hope asus reply to me what is the issue, someone help please. *

I noticed a decrease in memory bandwidth between bios 1701 and 1801, did anyone noticed the same thing ? refer to bellow images for comparaison
    The decrease is huge

    I7 6900K 4.2
    X99 STRIX
    DDR4 3200 C16

I tried switched multiple times between the two bios, and same results

Any help concerning the issue stated above ???
Anyone tried a comparison in aida64 for memory benchmark with bios 1701 vs 1801?

Change in memory rules. Unless you're tuning things manually, these things are par for the course. I wouldn't get strung up on the bandwidth benchmark when the real-world differences are extremely negligible.

Make sure to keep AIDA up to date, also. The benchmark isn't always accurate.

    That IS a big difference?
Seems write and copy have tanked.
AIDA does vary a bit but not that much...is that consistent 1801 performance?

Any other system changes...ssd? spectre patches between those two runs?

How did you update the BIOS? Have you tried to download a fresh 1801 and reflash...BIOS Flashback method?

I updated from 0901 to 1801 and did not see performance drop like that by the way.
