heelo all i just got this from newegg.ca for 700$ - 120 $ gift card i had so really good deal vs 1100$ + tax

upon opening it evrything looked good all the goodies were in the box ecept manual no bigy

i hooked it up to my 8700k 1080ti build and evrything worked , tested g sync worked no driver crashes
-no dead pixels
-no scratches on screen
-no damage
- i dont notice any back light bleed i do see a tiny bit on left edge but its realy hard to tell .

realy happy with this monitor i came from a 27" acer 144hz ips

my question is is there a way to find back light bleed properly ?
is there a trick to see back light bleed porperly ?

is there anything else i should be looking for defects ?
i heard somthing about a dark room and black picture and u take cell phone picture centerd of screen @ 10 feet away ?

Do you notice BLB during normal use? If no then you have tested for BLB properly.

Every IPS monitor (bar none) will exhibit BLB to some degree if you jack the brightness to max, put on a totally black screen and make the room pitch black. That's just IPS. If you don't see it during normal use which Im guessing you have not or this question wouldn't be posed, disregard the rest. If normal use is sitting in a pitch black room with a monitor at full brightness and a black screen up the test one should be performing is a psychiatric evaluation.

Congrats on your upgrade.

Glad you're enjoying your monitor. To check BLB, just use a black background. I have this monitor as well, looking to upgrade to a PG27UQ when it releases. 4K monitor with 144hz!

So many people have had problems with tis monitor you have been a very fortunate one ..If it aint broke dont fix it brother just enjoy your great display you obviously cant find anything wrong with it I just returned the PG348Q and am ordering this one today hope I am as forunate as you ... BlurBusters will give you quite a few tests to run through click UFO testing etc ... also you can just look up a BLB video on youtube and check if you have any glow or bleed. which all will have if you havent noticed by now you should be good.
