X299-XE Gaming Fall Creators (1709) Won't/Can't Sleep

All,

I just resolved an issue I had been having for about 3 weeks with my new build and wanted to share with everyone. In order for my computer to sleep I had to disable Hibernate using the command prompt from administrative level: powercfg.exe /hibernate off.

Here is a mostly complete list of things I am using and had done up to this point:

Mobo: Strix X299-XE gaming
CPU: i7-7820X
RAM: 32GB (16Gx2) GSkill TridentZ 3200
SSDs: Raid 0, 2X Samsung 850 EVO
GPU: Strix 1080TI

Fresh install of Windows1709 from DVD ISO Windows Media Creation tool
Installed all the up to date drivers and BIOS from ASUS website (BIOS Version 1004)
Windows was completely updated
admin cmd prompt -> input "Sfc/scannow" displayed errors and was unable to resolve
Downloading a new ISO from within Windows, then telling it to save all my files and apps but refresh, and included updates with refresh
admin cmd prompt -> input "Sfc/scannow" displayed no errors (but was still unable to sleep)
admin cmd prompt -> input "powercfg.exe /hibernate off" resolved the isssue (of course Hibernate is now not an option, Microsoft is now aware of the issue and according to them they are escalating for permanent resolution)
