Well, I don't know if the G.Skill F4-3200C14D-16GTZRX would be considered the 'best' memory...after all, the G.Skill F4-3200C14D-32GTZ is currently running at 3200Mhz, and is made up of 16GB sticks, not 8GB sticks (more on the way...). Stable with the latest BIOS (not the beta), so far as I can tell, no special settings, save setting the speed...

Still, I have had the odd reboot, which may be linked to that memory...or the fact that the room temperature is closer to 75F+ & the AI Suite recently failed me (thanks MS)...or it could be the aging RX480, soon to be replaced with a Vega Frontier Edition (wanted a Vega 64, no one had it in stock for a reasonable price...I'll take the card with the twice the memory and a FPS or two slower + CAD precision in the case). Don't know. That and Corsair (whose software just won't stay up)...

I was not aware that there is a 32GB kit that runs at 3200MHz.

Yet what is 'best' really depends on ones needs. For me 16GB is more than enough, thus the better price, the RGB lights and the Ryzen optimization are all making this kit better for my own needs. I could argue that for most people 16GB is more than enough IMHO.

But 32GB kit is made of two dual rank sticks and is limited to 3200, 3333 max speed. So hard to call it "best"

And when Asus supports faster RAM with 16GB modules, I will be there.

Until then, 64GB@3200Mhz feels so good it hurts (rofl).

I have the same ram pc booted fine with DOCP

I have RMAed the CPU yesterday and today got a new one. The motherboard boots up with 3200MHz DOCP without any problems and AIDA64 System Stability Test is running for 40minutes already without any issues.

I would like to suggest that you add G.Skill F4-3200C14D-16GTZRX to your ASUS Crosshair VI Extreme QVL as I can confirm that it works with the motherboard flawlessly. (ASUS Support insisted it is not on the QVL due to the RX suffix)

This is my first G.Skill memory (I've been buying Corsair before) and I am very satisfied with it and the motherboard!

    Thanks.
Have you left all values the same or did you change anything after choosing DOCP.
