Asus XG35VQ driver

Hi,

I just got myself an Asus XG35VQ monitor.
At first I could find any drivers on the CD, then I found one hidden under "\ASUS XG35V WHQL Test report\ASUS XG35V Driver_A00_20170828". But I can't install it since it doesn't have a digital signature. 😞 So the monitor is listed as a "Generic PnP Monitor" in the device manager and has no color profile.

On the Asus website, there is also no driver to download. The support could not help, since the product is "too new".

Did anyone of you manage to find and install it?

Greets,
Hauser

Me same with 32VQ.. pnp monitor. spent couple evenings trying to no avail.. if it makes u feel any better ^^ doesnt seem to matter much if at all... idk re colour profiles, must be another way i reckon. i THINK i recall actually reading at some asus page that its ok if its pnp monitor in win10. Maybe someone else can shed more light...

GG!

Hello,

The drivers (v1.0.0.0) for the XG35VQ are now available : http://dlcdnet.asus.com/pub/ASUS/LCD%20Monitors/XG32VQ-XG35VQ/XG35V_WHQL.zip

@ASUS : Is it possible to also put the drivers for the XG32VQ online ? Thank you in advance

Could you ask them to provide also a driver for the PB328Q?

The PA version has one but not the PB.

Thanks

I found the .inf file on the cd the monitor came with (32) - it was in some weird test folder.. unsigned. booted win10 in unsigned mode and installed them. Now it snot generic pnp monitor. Other than that no difference tbh seems. My text in browsers etc is just not 100% sharp and its somewhat pissing me off, together with the anytin-over-60hz-grey line issue... startin to wonderin if mines some marginally defective unit 😮

https://imgur.com/a/e5nQ3 for the record.. in case anyones familiar with issue.. if it is an issue.

Hello MasterC,

Do you have any news about the WHQL drivers for the XG32VQ ?

Thank you in advance.

Mokichu, seeing as we have the same monitor (mines the 32 though)... may you please give me your feedback with regards to the quality of text @ 1440p? Im not 100% happy myself.. not sure if its defective or just the way it is on this monitor. My text is sharp most of the time but when black on white, or for example the blue google search results.. they appear as though they have a slight shadow, or some weird anti-aliasing going on. Heres a pic to illustrate... https://imgur.com/92NHZRc

Your thoughts on the matter would be appreciated 🙂

Thankyou n good day!
