It never hurts to redo but some cores just dont preform as well as others. What are you using to monitor your voltage/Temps?
Use this if your not already - HWiNFO64
https://www.hwinfo.com/download.php
My 7920X SS cooling not delided - Has 2 cores warmer pulling a bit more voltage - then 4 cores total from there - load or no load

OK - try this program. I think you will like it and it seems to be more accurate.

meankeys I have a question for you, since you also got a 7920X and there is literally no review of it out there. I hope it's ok if I ask this in OP's thread.
On two different motherboards I experience comparatively low DRAM Write speeds.
I though the Apex would help but nope... And I kinda know my Corsair Dominator Torque SE perform without hickups on other platforms. So I got a feeling Intel cut down the memory controller or something on the smallest HCC therefor there hasn't been press samples thus no reviews on it to prevent the reveil of it's shortcomings only reviews of the 7960X and the 7980X.
Here is what I mean:
On the EVGA Micro @4.6G 32Mesh 3200Mhz DRAM
On the EVGA Micro @4.6G 32Mesh 4000Mhz DRAM
On the Rampage Apex @4.6G 32Mesh 3200Mhz DRAM
While the jump from 3200Mhz to 4000Mhz shows Write is kinda stuck, the move from Micro to Apex also shows only very minor changes on DRAM Write speed. Actually running even lower tRFC of only 252 on the Apex. I already tightened pretty much all timings, raised the Mesh to 3200 which is pretty good for a 12 Core. And Write is still stuck. It was way worse with unoptimized settings out the box with just XMP. But with all the optimizations Write should be in the range of 100000 mb/s. New Aida64 Version that supports SkylakeX same results.
Might still be the DRAM kit but I highly doubt it. As I said I have a feeling it's the 7920X. So I wonder what your Aida64 Write speeds are on your 7920X and if there is similar behavior.

You are right. The IMC'S on these chips are weak. I too thought the apex and i9 series would allow me to run my G.Skill trident z 4400 kit @ that speed. I cant find the thread right now but Raja took the winds from my sails when he told me to lower my expectations and the IMC cant handle those speeds. may be with future bios releases we will get close but not looking good. If I get some time I will run the same bench with the same settings and see what happens
