Thanks ! getting the Quad rad home next week, so mabye , 4.9Ghz next time. But the most most important is better temps on the GPU.

I got all home for Powermod the Titan, did just not do it yet.

    Goal is 30k.

it should be doable with LOD, but will try without first.

Do you know wich LOD settings is best for firestirke? last time I did it, was with Vantage.

For 3DMARK , same for Time Spy, and Vantage
Nvidia Profile Inspector (Profile Inspector works better than old version of NV Inspector with new hardware)

    Antialiasing - Transparency Supersampling - set to 0x0000008 AA_MODE_REPLAY_ALL

Texture fitering LOD Bias (DX) either LOD +3 or type in 0x00000CF0 for the max LOD setting possible.

For 3D11 and Catzilla set these in Globale Profile

If you have settings that work better please share

Later the same day, I made my Goal allready., next goal is 31k.

I tested all LOD from 0 to 20. and clearly +4 Lod was the winner, 100 more points over +3 lod. all over 4 was hurting the FPS.

The GPU is yet not Powermoded.

Which profile inspector version are you using? Mine offers only up to max +3 on texture filtering LOD Bias (DX)

    Mine is version 2.1.3.10

Also I have trouble with the combined score in Fire Strike. It's very inconsistent, managed to only get a decent combined score ones. I ones knew how to set up the driver but I don't remember/ can't find it.

These are currently my best results, while the above nvidia inspector settings helped in Time Spy, I mean you can clearly see the difference visually it did little to nothing in Firestrike on the other hand.

Here are the results, the two Fire Strike benches are on 5.0Ghz CPU, the two Time Spy benches are on 4.9Ghz

I'm especially proud of this one, second best 1080Ti result on hwbot, I guess the best without excotic cooling.

Firestrike Physics test is possibly the least CPU taxing CPU bench you can run on an Intel platform. You can possibly get 4.7 non AVX out of that CPU 24/7, I wouldn't hope for anything higher. Nice FS result, though. Perhaps consider delidding.

7920X passed 4.9G and 3400Mesh R15 run with good efficiency. Finding the sweetspot for Vccin I found to be key. Mesh can be tricky but if you cool it well Vccio needs to be roughly set to the same as vMesh. Of cause I was hoping for 5.0G but wouldn't pass no matter the volts. The chip doesn't like it hot. As soon as it passes 80°C it tends to get unstable quickly. Can't cool it more unfortunately, don't have a chiller. MO-RA3 and another 420 Rad has to be enough :/ still a nice chip, 5G R15 would have been nice though. On the other hand the chip can go pretty high on the Mesh. And stay away from bios 1102, doesn't have a real benefit and it causes some benchmarks to slow down weirdly.

If anyone knows a special setting in the bios that needs tweaking for when you seem to hit a wall please share! Maybe 5G is possible afterall.
