    Unhappy Is it worth it?

    Is it worth it?

    PG27VQ vs PG278QR.

    Both have the same TN panel and the only difference is that the other one is curved.

    I'm getting confused. Help me decide ROGers!

    Tn... Meh, except if you really want a "fast" monitor.

    Google "tn vs va vs ips panel" for infos.

    You should go for an ips panel imho even for gaming. Perfect color accuracy, exceptional viewing angles, great speed nonetheless. But suffers from ips glow and weak contrast in a way.

    Va are worst with color and viewing angle but have a much higher contrast ratio (deep black, so no ips glow but crushed black is to be expected because of this) but suffers also from ghosting.

    Tn are fast and cheap. That's just what they are good for.
