Far cry 5, quake champions or assetto corsa would be the best for me to test at 720p low settings

pc is smooth after microcode update
anyway is there a webpage on the asus website that explains in detail what every setting in bios/uefi does
most google stuff is random people answering stuff, and the last time i took advice from toms hardware users, they told me my phenom ran at a max 62c, when amds overdrive stated i was fine to go to 70c....
so. people tend to pass on wrong answers all the time (including me)

I bit the bullet and updated to the "Beta" BIOS 3503.

Overclock, XMP Profile, etc, everything so far seems stable, and most importantly, I finally pass an InSpectre test.
Why in the world do ASUS Support, the Support Managers I was escalated to, and Engineers have no idea what's going on with their own product is beyond me and entirely unsatisfactory and alarming. Being told over and over there would never be anything, nobody is working on it, my motherboard is not covered, reversing that stance and accepting my motherboard is covered, and then a surprise update on the product page. Insanely frustrating. One "its coming, it's not ready yet" email was all that was necessary.
I'll likely just go EVGA for everything since their employees at least have a semblance of what's happening.Last edited by mscaf; 04-30-2018 at 02:46 AM.

I just updated my Maximus VII Hero to 3503 and now I am passing all speculation control tests in powershell!
Thank you Asus! All you guys ever had to do was tell us that you would patch it eventually and I think all the negative response on here could have been avoided!
Anyways, I really appreciate it and will continue to support Asus in my next upgrade!
