I suppose BIOSes on the list will start appearing soon enough but it's shutting the stable door after most of the horses have bolted...

Someone might be miffed their backdoor has been found....I'm sure there are others.

If your PC is connected to the net don't think anything you do on it is private.

Anyone tried RMAing their CPU for this yet...I might give it a go...

Can someone from ASUS provide information regarding older motherboard BIOS updates? How far back are ASUS planning on going? Which MBs, exactly make the cut and which are shunned?
I'd like to deploy my troops in her country.

I see you are completely devoted to barricade one door with losing resources, while zombies have back gate open.
    Nice. ABANDON SHIP, ABANDON SHIP.

We are not aware how many updates will MS sent to us.
At the end of 2018, owners of Broadwell-E will be have power of Ivy Bridge-E and only 50% of security problems fixed.
960 Pro will work as 950 Pro, Image Editing 35% slower, games 10% slower average.
We delidded their CPU and lose warranty for 10%. Now that's not enough to revert Image Editing of stock value before this mess.

For big coorporation I have one advice.
Firs AMD EPYC 7601 lock and secure self and than to estimate loss and how to compensate because many companies didn't planned upgrade soon and some of them pay hundreds thousands on that.
AMD EPYC 7601 gone from Newegg...I'm not sure is it connected but his price was 3000+$ and he was with other EPYC models 2 days before Intel mess. AMD will have huge demands for this monster with 32 cores and 5000 score in Cinebench R15 and Dual Socket motherboards, they could increase price freely. Corporation will not ask is it 3500 or 4000 to secure own data.

I have the same board with a 4790k My guess is that Asus won't be updating those board's BIOS. I also believe that there will be other people on line, like those on Fernando's site, who will add the appropriate code or show us how to do it.

Z87 VI series boards with Haswell will be getting updates?

The μCode updates are out there, as Lenovo are issuing them back to Ivy Bridge for our machines at work...
