    Z97-pro gamer

I have a Z97-PRO GAMER board. I notice there are now lots of Z97 boards with BIOS 3503 available, apart from this one.

This is what I received from ASUS support. Just wondered if anyone else had managed to get any further information:

Thank you for contacting ASUS Support.

I am very sorry to hear about the problems you are having.

My name is Arsen and it would be my pleasure to help you solve the issue the best way I can.

Unfortunately, there is no concrete release dates for your motherboard.

One way to protect your machine from the Intel CPU vulnerabilities is to keep your Windows up to date, as Microsoft is releasing fixes as well.

ASUS and Intel are working hard on providing fixes for the Spectre/Meltdown, but BIOS update sometimes need a lot of time for testing and debugging.

Furthermore, it is recommended to keep you Windows up to date, as some fixes are provided by Microsoft.

I apologize for the inconvenience caused.

If you have any further question feel free to contact us again.

    Kind regards,
    Arsen_N

I update my ASUS Maximus V Formula a second time by myself, i patch the newest Intel Microcode for my i7 3770k. It seems that the 20 Microcode is more stable then the Preupdate 1F also the newest Spectre Version is fixed.
My OC Setting 4,8GHz @ 1,250V is now more stable with 30° air temperature and air cooler then with MC 1F
