Confirmed
AI Suite II 2.04.01 + KB4073290 = Fan Xpert+ works again on my P9X79 Pro M.2 NVMe modded board
BTW
Do you know how to force X79 board to run 8x DDR3-2400?
I have 64GB DDR3-2400 all the same CL10-12-12-31 but can use only 4-sticks of DDR3 together...
Any 4 x stick = OK
16GB + 8GB + 8GB = working but unstable (AIDA64 Memtest = crash)
32GB + 16GB = Windows crashes after a few seconds
I have:
Corsair 32GB Kit 4 x 8GB (CMZ32GX3M4A2400C10 Dual/Quad Channel
Corsair 16GB Kit 4 x 4GB (CMZ16GX3M2A2400C10) Dual Channel but can work as Quad Channel
2 x Corsair 8GB Kit 2x 4GB (CMZ8GX3M2A2400C10) Dual Channel but can work as Quad Channel
32GB installed and another 32GB lies on the desk :/Last edited by Marcinprv; 01-23-2018 at 02:41 AM.

AISuite now working
I updated to the latest version, now the Windows patch works with it, one thing I noticed is with the new version AISuite, you only get the main pack not the others, I downloaded the new one, then installed all of the others from the older version!

Stupid Solution
1. Install some previous Windows 10 build like Creators Update 1703
2. Install Asus AI Suite
3. Update the system
4. Create backup (for the future)
Sorry, I do not have any other ideas.Last edited by Marcinprv; 01-23-2018 at 12:42 PM.

Just FYI : Safe mode, and Test mode, are two different things.
To run in test mode (the one you want for AI Suite to run), you have to use cmd with "run as admin" option, and execute "bcdedit /set TESTSIGNING ON" command.
After restart, you get "test mode" text in bottom right corner.
If that didn't show, try using "bcdedit.exe -set loadoptions ENABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS" command before executing "/set testsigning on".

For AI Suite II, I downloaded and installed the KB4073290 fix (AMD fix) from Microsoft and and it started working again.

Maybe I’m slightly paranoid
Everyone getting this AI Suite II issue is going to install KB4073290 to fix it.
But installing this KB after KB4056892 installation and on Intel platform (with Z77 chipset for example) is really a good idea ? KB4056892 is deployed to fix Intel vulnerability.
So what about installing another KB as 4073290 after it ? KB4073290 is to fix AMD boot process. I’ve read nowhere else than in this forum we can install it on Intel platform even if it troubleshoots our AI Suite 2 issue.
I’ve installed it and ok all works fine, but is Intel vulnerability still corrected after that ?
