My ROG 751JT laptop just travelled internationally and went through a security scan( was working fine the day before) and since then won't start up for longer than around 30 seconds.
The internal battery seems to not be charging and has stayed at 0% charge in Windows 8.1 ("0% available, plugged in, charging")
‎I pull out the mains adaptor from the side of the laptop and it instantly stops.
‎I've had it for about 2.5 years now.
Has anyone experienced this problem and know how I can fix it?
I would have thought that it could still run ok from mains power? Is it still dependent on the internal battery?
Is it time to get the internal battery replaced?
