EVGA has a Strix?
My sugestion if color is that important to either buy an EVGA or pull the cover from the Strix and paint it. Comparing What one manufacturer is doing and asking another to replicate it is, and I speak only for my own views, in extremly poor taste and insulting.

Well similar ......but yes
The link above show how EVGA offers a variety of color to blend in with the PC build theme. I do understand this might bring a premium but to be hones if I already paid all this money for a high end system, whats several dollars more for a custom color to tie in my build. I know that many people including myself would pay the extra money for such a feature (if it can be called that ). For me EVGA is out of the question as I mention above I have a Strix build, so a EVGA card would trow the build off.... out of the questionAttachment 70205Attachment 70206Attachment 70207

With all do respect why would that be in poor taste or insulting? ..I am not asking them to make a replica of the card, just simply offer more colors . Also to your argument that would be like saying all the case manufacturing that are using tempered glass thats in poor taste and insulting. BTW I truly respect and appreciate your opinion I really do thank you for your opinion

UNIKO,
I believe everyone understands what you are saying and everyone has there preferences , there are differences between brands that we all would like to see offered but each manufacturer makes choices based on numerous factors and ASUS has numerous threads asking peoples opinions for consideration on future products, I believe they have had several GPU's that came with different color stickers you could install on the GPU, but with the RGB LED craze going on ASUS has chosen control the motherboard and GPU RGB LED's to match components which arguably stands out better looking into a case from the outside through a side window, the key word arguably as everyone has there own preference, I am sure if you post in the threads where ASUS asks for these opinions they will be considered on future products
ASUS has had some of the most distinctive and desirable Video cards and the Assassin's Creed looks like it could be one of them
In my opinion as we all have one, the lack of availability and price of Video cards at the moment due in part to Crypto mining is the biggest issue as you may have to purchase what ever card is available at the time instead of being able to choose your proffered card

I Completely agree with you and I definitely understand, I did see the thread about suggestion. The thread was closed so I decided to start a thread about this single topic. The main reason for a suggestion is the Warranty as one of the other member suggested to paint it my self which is not a bad Idea but any type of modification would void the warranty. Once again this was a thread to see if there was interest of such a like product there was no bad intentions/trolling or anything like that behind the thread.

It would have been better received I think if you suggested multiple color choices and not added the EVGA comparison.
Not to create bad blood but your initial post pretty much did ask to make a replica of EVGA. The interchangable fan covers is their thing and Im sure their marketing dept is as proud of that as ASUS is of the assassins creed limited edition. Yes GPU availability is down and prices are up.
If you have already bought the card the only way to change its color is to paint it. Will you lose the warranty? Maybe. I know mine warranty on two 1080 Tis was gone right after I finished bench testing them on air to make sure I didnt have DOA cards. Right after that the entire heatsink, fans and shroud went back in the box and put away and replaced with two EK Strix water blocks.

Sorry if thats the way the post came across...was not my intention. Actually I still dont see how the post pointed to a replica" EVGA offers a variety of color to blend in with the PC build theme" I can see how the title could be a bit misleading but key word here is similar To be honest by me posting the link was more of a visual nothing else
oh well there is no point on crying over spilled milk
btw I bet those puppies run nice and cool
