I was able to get it running again. If you still have it installed you should be able to download the beta version and install it over the previous. If you had uninstalled it like i did, I had to install the version from the disc that came with my mobo, reboot about 4 times, then install beta over the version from the disc. Seems to be running perfectly right now.

I ran into the same thing yesterday. Ran across this post a couple of times while researching. Through trial and error, here's what I found:
The uninstall for AI Suite 3 is utter crap. In my case, it left 4 services running, which ultimately prevented the beta install.
Here's what I think finally worked for me:
- Grab the AI Suite 3 Beta
- Grab the AI Suite 3 Cleaner: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...uite-3-cleaner
- Grab the AI Suite 2 Cleaner, the only thing to get rid of the services: https://rog.asus.com/forum/showthrea...nstall-cleaner
- Uninstall AI Suite 3 using Windows control panel
- Restart to complete uninstall
- Restart into Safe Mode
- Run AI Suite 3 Cleaner
- Run AI Suite 2 Cleaner
- Restart
- Install AI Suite 3 Beta
Good luck! I hope this works!

My system is an ASUS Sabertooth Z97 Mark I with an Intel i5-4690K overclocked to 4.3 GHz and 16 Gb of ram. After applying the lastest Win 10 patch AI Suite III stoppesd working so I uninstalled it, ran the AI Cleaner and installed the AIS III beta.
When I boot the machine into Win 10 I get several error messages with the following text
"Access is denied, ProgID: AsusFanControlService.FanControlManger"
The following YouTube video claims to fix the issue, but it didn't work for me.

The beta version of AIS III looks like the old AIS II interface and several of the files are actually older than those in the latest version of AISS III. Hopefully, Asus gets these bugs fixed because AIS is needed for properly configuring my machine.

It runs fine on Sabertooth X99.
Like Redjamax1, I installed it over the installed version 1.00.96, while unchecking DIP 5, which originally does not exist in 1.00.96 (in stead there was the DIGI+PowerControl).
So I have now updated versions:
ASUS AI Suite 3 v3.00.10
ASUS EZ Update v2.03.17
ASUS System Information v1.01.19
ASUS USB BIOS Flashback v1.03.08
So, Thermal Radar 2 is still the original v1.00.54 (incl AsusFanControlService v1.06.19 and VGAService v1.00.17)
While I do not dare to install Thermal Radar 3 (v1.02.12) from the X266 platform, I was wondering if I could install Therma Radar 2 v1.00.77 from Sabertooth 990FX R30 ?
Basically, I learned that a newly constructed folder structure with all from AIsuiteIII v3.00.10, without DIP5, but with all the missing from v1.00.96, seems viable.

AI Suite 3 not starting
After MS patch to deal with Intel flaw, I also get the error message "The server threw an exception".
Hope this gets fixed sooner rather than later !

I'm having this problem, AI Suite 3 won't start but 2 fans that are controlled by it (CPU temperature) seems to be ok, and GPU Tweak 2 although running, it seems to not control my 2 fans connected to my STRIX (GPU temperature) as it should.
Should I give this BETA a try? I have a B250-PLUS with an i7-7700.
After reading this thread and seeing a lot of people having problem with this BETA, I'm afraid that things could become worse than right now.Last edited by DroP90; 01-08-2018 at 07:39 PM.

ROG Rampage V Edition 10
Installed both windows updates kb4056892 and kb4058702 then ASUS AI Suite III v3.00.10 without uninstalling the old version on a ROG Rampage V Edition 10. Working fine so far without any issues.
