Asus Terminal / Halo Auto Issue

Hi wondering if anyone can help with an issue I'm having with the Halo software where all the screen settings work e.g Full screen , 16:9 works and grabs the colours from the source but when I select the auto setting it only seems to grab a full screen display .

For example when I select the Auto setting if the image from the source has black bars on the top/ bottom or left/ right then the software wont grab the colours and just won't display any colours until the image reverts back to full screen.

I have two Asus Therminals for different computers and both have this issue.
