Powering on a closed ROG Zephyrus

Hey all, new user here, just purchased a new ROG Zephyrus, have connected it to a Logitech 910 and G903 Keyboard and Mouse and I'd like to be able to turn the unit on without opening up the unit.

It's permanently connected to my 348Q via thunderbolt.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Potentially bad idea as the cooling mechanism doesn't work as designed when closed.

I was only leaning this when not playing games. Will that change that?

If your not pushing it, (at all), you could set the close lid to “do nothing” in windows and if you can find one that is compatible driver wise, I have a Thunderbolt dock on my Dell work laptop that Has a power button on it. Does exactly what you are asking.
For personal owned stuff, i have a G75vw, G751jy, and G703, but not a slick looking Zeph... so cant help further. Sorry but that might get you going.
