I'm using:
Windows 10 Pro 64 bit
Asus Rampage V Extreme

I'm trying to better understand my bias in the advanced section.
I have S.M.A.R.T. Status Check set to ON. Why would I not always keep that on? Does it take a hit on the performance. And if it is a check what is a checking and what we get the answer.
