Saving and reapplying BIOS settings befor/after BIOS Update

Since I am a satisfied owner of a Maximus X Formula Mobo, I updated my BIOS twice, now using the 1003 version.
As recommended, I loaded the optimized defaults before and after the update process.

Last time, I did the BIOS update, I tried to safe all my BIOS settings on a USB stick in order to reapply them after the BIOS would have been completed.

Unfortunatly, the new BIOS didn´t accept the saved settings from the old one saved on the stick... . 😞

What can I do when updating BIOS next times to avoid beginning from zero each time?

You will need to re-enter every time. It's purposely locked out to prevent mishaps when BIOS parameters change.
