    asus pg279q problems questions

    I will soon buy the monitor but I wanted to know if the backlight bleed has been fixed in new monitors to date. There is some way to know which ones are already fixed, either through a serial number, version, or other thing? please help me

    Hi,
    I just returned my 3º PG279Q, all with BackLight Bleed.
    All had the date of manufacture of 2017, the last one was manufactured in November..

    I gave up IPS monitors for Gaming.

    If you are in a well-lit room, you will never notice the Backlight Bleed...
    But if you are in a room with a dim light ... you will notice the Bleed

    What monitor do you recommend for gaming? Or does gaming monitor + image quality not co-exist?
