I did the 1102 Firmware on my RVIE and did the ME firmware update manually in command prompt. Says I am protected now on all Intel security checks. System runs perfectly fine and stable, absolutely smashes my old X99 system. Over 2000 points higher in Time Spy also, I couldn't be happier.

I updated both the bios and the ME firmware. and it still showing the Spectre vunerability on 2 of the testing apps. The one from intel sez I'm Patched and no longer vunerable.
Also most of the asus App are broken now ie Sonicstudio III ans such.

No degradation of performance with 1102?
I tested, the SSD M2 have a fairly consistent loss, especially in 4k
some programs I use are slower, etc...
    Sorry for my english

Ok, and with Storage (Crystal Disk Mark, eg), application, etc... is good too ?
    it's decreased compared to 1004, especially 4K on SSD M2 (Read/Write, passed from 64/280 to 55/220... lol)

don't know what I'm doing wrong then. updated both bios and the ME firmware, verified both are installed. ran the intel test software. shows I'm good to go. I use that software some of you posted from Ashampoo. and it tells me I still have the Spectre vunerability.

What does Windows Powershell tell you? If you're on the latest UEFI, and the security update is installed it should display as follows.

Left is the ME firmware vulnerability check (11.10.1287 or higher) which will require you to run the Intel firmware utility. Right is Spectre and Meltdown validation.
