    I actually couldn't agree more. If the system is used for gaming and not a lot else, there is no real need to rush in and take the performance hit, however small.

    Just a heads up if you update your ME drivers you will have to re-flash the firmware again because it reset the SVN undoing the patch.

    Yeah i don't really see the point to update but i did, like they can have my netbank login details they can do **** all with them seeing its a 2 stage verification system.

    Same here. I am skipping all these updates on my R6E system for now. Everything is running way to well. I will review my decision this summer.

    Since I could care less about any performance impact I am going to update my Surface Pro I use at work today and my Clevo N130BU laptop over the weekend

    hmmm, not having any issues, here. Curious. the performance on crystal disk is minuscule to me. back air my same o/c and same voltage.
