Rampage VI Extreme question - install both IRST and IRSTe?

I am confused, do I need to install both the IRST and IRSTe? I am using 1 SATA drive and 1 NVME drive in the DIMM.2 spot.

I see both IRST and IRSTe in the Asus download page.

If no intention of running Raid you need neither.

There might be some slight performance differences if using SATA RAID between the two drivers, but as you're not using RAID that isn't applicable here, and there's no need to install either, as posted above.

Oh wow, thank you guys. I've always installed it even though I've never run RAID. I just assumed it was a necessary part of the board software. Thanks!
