    then i used this guide and it WORKED!!!! old bios instantly loaded XMP no problem and i was in 10 secs later in windows.

    i'd buy you a 6 pack in an instant.....THANK YOU!
    I have the same problem but on z170m-plus. Impossible to downgrade. Whenever I flashed any other bios other than latest, it causes boot loop. Loads back in to EZ flash 3 and asks for "same .cap file," but unless its the latest bios, just reboots and tries to reflash until I use latest bios file. Someone please help me. Is the method patched, do I need to use different versio of afudos? Anything else I can still try?

    Same for me. I even tried switching bios chips with older bios. Nothing seems to be working. OP, any way you could update the flash guide for latest bios?

    Updated my B360M-A to the latest BIOS (2012) and impossible to downgrade. Will this guide work for my motherboard?
    To anyone using a hackintosh, this BIOS prevents booting Mac OS for some reason?

    ASUS support pretty much told me it's impossible to downgrade from this version of BIOS...

    @RaffieKol
    Thank you! This method worked perfectly on my ASUS ROG STRIX B350-F GAMING board.

    My primary OS is Linux Mint 19.1, and I tend not to veer too far from the base Linux Mint/Ubuntu/Debian packages. I updated my BIOS to the new version 4602, and that broke virtualization to the point where it wouldn't let me pass my GPU through, and I couldn't figure out how to make it work, so I used this method to go back to the previous BIOS version, 4207, and now everything works. So thank you again!
